Entertainer Virgil Gibson, is the former lead singer of the world famous Platters and Rivingtons, and he brings the great sounds of the doo-wop era with tunes like "Only You," "Up On The Roof," "In The Still Of The Night," "You Send Me," "My Girl," "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes", "Papa Oom Mow Mow".  Gibson's repertoire also includes gospel, country and pop.  

Virgil's discography includes "Virgil Gibson Sings the Oldies" Volume I and Volume II, which bring back the best of the Golden Age of the 50's and 60's music; "I Made It Back Home", an album of traditional gospel favorites; "Prayers Have Wings"; and the limited edition CD single, "Be My Christmas Present," is a favorite any time of year.

Virgil has appeared with many great entertainers including The Drifters, The Coasters,  O'Jays, Bobby Day, Dee Clark and Al Wilson, and he has served as Marketing Director of the U.S.O.  

Throughout his long career, Gibson has reached out to many troubled young people.  He has created a program called "Virgil's Kid's" to help mentor, guide and teach young people to "be what you want to be, just pick whatever you want to be and go after it."
